  • 2. 1 garlic clove
  • 3. 1/2 cup of milk
  • 4. 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 5. 250 grams of Mushrooms
  • 6. 1 chicken breast
  • 7. Salt and pepper

  1. Finely chop half a white onion.
  2. Remember that mushrooms are not washed because they absorb a lot of water and lose practically all their aroma and flavor, so we will clean them with a damp, clean cloth just before using them.
  3. Take the chicken breast, remove the skin and bone, and cut it into cubes.
  4. On the stove over medium heat, put a pot with a little olive oil and sauté the chopped onion with half a tablespoon of the garlic paste that I prepare myself and keep ready in the freezer (you can find this trick on my blog https://camilacocinafacil.com/receta/pasta-de-ajo), but you can also chop a garlic clove.
  5. When the garlic and onion are golden, add half a cup of milk (I'm using almond milk, but you can use your preference), and also add half a cup of heavy cream.
  6. Stir, and now add the mushrooms and let them cook for about 4 minutes.
  7. While our mushrooms are cooking, sauté the chicken with olive oil, and when it's ready, add our mushroom sauce, add salt, a little pepper, and let everything cook together for another 8 minutes for the sauce to thicken, and Enjoy!
